(Oh I am a goof! You win round 4 (my 21 vs. your 27, https://sakkaku.org/r/21952). Haruhi wins round 5 (my 35 vs your 25, https://sakkaku.org/r/21953). A very close match!)

"Kindness has its way to return to its source. I am only kind because..." She spreads her arms open, drone in remote in one hand. "It's you that brings this self out." She grins and her lips form a 'thank you'.

"I'm good to go, Haruhi san!" She says to the other winner. "I saw your new moves." Her face shifts to the old arc villain performance that Taraka has seen before. "It's you and me, Kakita Vardeko!" She calls her with the name of the protagonist of the Empire Wars. "Let us what the Bayushi teachings have given you. Show me your stance!" She chuckles almost happily and approaches for the next duel.

The winds favored the Crane today. Taraka didn't mind that though, it was good when customers won, it kept them playing and spreading the good word. "Well fought, Kakita-san." she said.

She turned back to the Spider. "I am ready when you are, Susumu-san." preparing to fight as soon as there was time to do so.

Sumiko chuckled at Senshukens antics, before turning and bowing properly to the Yasuki.

"Hai ready Yasuki-sama! Let's have fun" she said with a bright smile, her drone taking to the air. Not knowing her opponent she instead took a slow approach, which would in fact leave her in a weak position to be easily exploited and it wouldn't take Taraka too long to take advantage and claim what would be an easier than expected victory perhaps.

Taraka watched as the Spider's banner came down.

She maneuvered her own carp back to base.

"Well, you have certainly improved in your time here, Susumu-san." she offered. "And I can tell you've been putting a lot of effort into modifying your carp. It certainly seems like it handles much better than store bought."

Haruhi smiled to face off against Senshu.

Ah, she wanted to show her all she'd learned!

But gosh it was distracting standing close to her. Thinking about the feel of her hand overs as she showed her how to pilot.

The 4th round - focus focus focus - it was like the Fortune of racing was smiling on her. She just got better and better. Against all odds. 48 v 24 (https://sakkaku.org/r/21994)

3 wins. She'd done it!

She turned to look at Senshu. Breathless, excited.

Senshu grins back at her. She's not the type who wants to win no matter what. She's here to enjoy the duels, not necessarily win. Winning is just an added perk sometimes, but right now Haruhi's excitement is the real advantage.

She offers a bow and then her hands theatrically go over an imaginary wound in her heart. "It is the fate of every master to die in the hands of her apprentice. Go forth and be the Chosen One, Kakita Vardeko san! You deserve it!" She chuckles. "You were excellent, Haruhi san. Exceptional!"

"I am going to program Sky Blue to play the imperial march!" she said, grinning.

"You awaken something in me that makes me shine. All credit to the master." She gave an answering bow. Happy! So happy!

"Thank you for your kind words Yasuki-sama" Sumiko smiled and bowed to the woman before collecting her drone and flag "I've found modifying the drone a very fun hobby. I had read into working on bikes and cars before as more of a passing interest but never actually working on anything before now. At least that's something I'll take back with me once I depart."

She noticed the other battle reaching a conclusion with a surprise on her face to see Senshuken defeated.

"Good job Kakita-sama! I suppose that leaves two battles left to go, Bayushi-sama and Yasuki-sama then my attempt to try and face the new upcoming star Kakita-sama?"

"Let's do this!" She exclaims. "Yasuki san! Prepare yourself for our last fight before the first board meeting!"

She lands her drone, attaches the banner again and she prepares herself for the upcoming challenge.

Taraka nodded, and rest for the Scorpion.

While she got off to a fast start compared to the Scorpion, Senshuken got on her hard.

She chuckled a bit as she was defeated.

"Ah, I thought my chances might better today with Kakita-san besting you, Bayushi-san. But I can tell you've been devoting yourself both to improving as a pilot and improving your carp." she said.

Sumiko couldn't help but smile as Haruhi's drone took off. It really was an impressive display, the music with the womens already clearly improved skills making it feel like a true Crane display. The battle wasn't too close, although both had improved since their first battle it was clear that Haruhi had more natural aptitude and she was able to win in small order.

"Well won Kakita-sama" Sumiko said with a bow as her flag fell down

Haruhi smiled at Susumu-san.

"Well fought! And I do think you've done something very clever to get the most out of your drone. I've seen you at work, helping with the jimen tori drone. I expect you could help me make Sky Blue even better."

Bows are offered to all three women respectively. "Fun, fun, fun! Thank you all! Do we get this little party to a tea house, perhaps?"

She was still feeling exhilarated from her victory.

"Yasuki-san, can you help me figure out which drone duelists I haven't paired against yet? Maybe I can reach out to them. I doubt fortune will ever smile as brightly on me again as this morning, but it will be fun to try."

Taraka nodded to both suggestions of the Crane and the Scorpion.

"I think tea and discussion sound wonderful. Off the top of my head, Kakita-san, beyond everyone here, I believe you've dueled with Bayushi Kazushi and Miya Kisha?" she offered.

"Yes, that's everyone."
