Shiwahime was letting the rhythm dictate her body It was good to let her previous failures be washed away by movement without purpose.

Evidently, the pair make quite the show; space clears around them, with nobody else joining in.

It must be the Moto who takes their eyes, the smaller Miya barely garnering a glance. But even thinking such does not stop Kisha in her dance, the alcohol working through her body to ease restraints.

Had you asked the Moto, she would have believed otherwise. The petite Miya in her slinky dress was by far the most approachable of the duo and people might have joined in had the unicorn's massive frame not loomed over like some sort of unofficial bodyguard

As Kazushi heads to the bar for a drink, Katsumi and Kurumi spot two familiar faces on the dance floor...



"Good evening, Miya-sama, Moto-sama," says the normally taciturn Kurumi, a smile on her face that normally shows no expression, although it does draw some attention to the burn scar on her left cheek. "Enjoying a night out?"

"I am!" Kisha says. "And I hope you are, too!"

"Oh yes!" says an unusually bouncy Katsumi - like her sister, she seems to be in the mood to 'cut loose' a bit, dropping her normally professional exterior with the help of some dancing and...probably not a small amount of alcohol. "This place is way better than most of the clubs back home!"

"Well, come dance, and you can tell me about them!" Kisha says, smiling broadly. "And maybe we can get another drink soon, too!"

Shiwahime greeted the two women who where some fancy guy's assistants, if she recalled correctly

''Right, This is a good place'' and then the mention of drinks came ''I am always down for more''

The song draws to a close, and another one begins.

"To the bar, ladies!" Kisha fairly shouts, striving to be heard.

And she begins to swim against the current of larger bodies.

Kazushi has a line of shots waiting - closer, of course, to the watchful bartender than to himself. He knows his people's reputation.

"I'm not entirely sure what these are," he admits, "other than that they're blue."

''Woot-woot!'' Shiwahime replied, helping the Miya clear the way to the refreshments. ''What will you have this time Miya-sama?''

"I'll take one of these blue ones already lined up!" Kisha says. "Probably coconutty. And then a chuhai?"

She knocks back one of the blue shots. It is, in fact, coconutty.

She'll smile and wave her thanks to Kazushi, as well.

Instinctively Shiwahime distrusted strange men offering drinks and was fairly surprised when Kisha took one and downed it.

Under her breath she swore to her mercyless gods that if her friend's drink had anything questionnable in it then that sleeze would, at best, be looking through his own shit to find his broken teeth.

But until then

''I don't know him'' she told the Miya, suspicious

"Oh, right!" Kisha says. "My mistake!

"Bayushi Kazushi, this is Moto Shiwahime, doshin and my friend. Moto-san, this is Bayushi Kazushi, working for the Orchid Department and also my friend."

She nods, the introductions done.

Everybody should be happy now, right?

Kazushi gives the Moto a disarming smile and an obvious glance down toward his left hand, which bears a wedding ring. He's not likely to try anything - nothing that blatant, anyway.

The smile only made the Moto's eyes narrow further, the wedding ring not doing much to change her demeanor...but Kisha trusted the scorpion enough

''Good evening Bayushi Kazushi-san. Glad to see another of Miya-sama's friends''

Her tone was not hostile but it was clear she would not totally let go of that first impression quite yet

"Have a chuhai with me, Moto-san!" Kisha says. "They're tasty!"

Kurumi takes a trio of the blue shots, handing one to her sister and the other to Kazushi.

"Kanpai!" they yell in unison before downing them. The twins are starting to look a little less stable, with Katsumi needing to steady herself against the bar - alcohol and exertion will do that to a person. Kazushi, though? He still looks stone-cold sober, despite the empty glasses collecting beside him.

''What's a chuhai?'' she inquired, glad not to drink mr.smarmy's shots

"It's a highball," Kisha says, "with shochu, soda, and citrus. I like lemon in mine, and I like 'em strong!"

The bartender seems all too eager to oblige.
