[Susumu Sumiko]

Sumiko laughed before sliding into the water, dipping under for a moment before coming back up.

"Ah this is so nice! Sorry what did you say? Oh, news. Well this morning I actually won a drone battle, does that count as news? Your training paid off! Well that and my adjustments, I've really got into the modifications it's a lot of fun."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Nicely done, young padawan!" She jokes. "You are a natural in engineering and with training your piloting skills will... Well not flourish. Emerge to begin with." She teases her.

The young woman keeps her eyes closed and enjoys the warmth of the water for a few moments. "You know. Hinata san. He is a good boy. Smart, kinda funny, eeexcellent abs. We have talked about this before. I saw you two speaking and I wouldn't mind. Just so that you know, okay?"

[Susumu Sumiko]

There was a small chuckle.

"I do a pretty good job with learning anything Senshu-chan. I can pick up things quickly and master them as well. Piloting like driving is not something I would have ever tried before, but now I've given it a try and kept at it I can only get better."

There was a small pause and tilt of the head at the comment about Hinata.

"Hinata-san is very kind and fun to talk to, however I think you're thinking a little far ahead on things. Also 'wouldn't mind'? Do I need permission to cast my eyes upon others then?" there was a grin.

She sticks her tongue out in a playful and teasing mockery, her eyes still closed. "You know what I mean. I am making sure that I extend the same courtesy you have in the past. My own dates go well, thank you for asking." She makes another playful grimace.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Thank you for your courtesy" Sumiko replied with a small chuckle "and good to hear you're doing...well? Still reaching for the stars as always Senshu-chan? Truth be told I was curious if you'd get restless and bored working, I remember how you felt on the World of Dreams about doing these kinda things, even if the travel is worth it. There are plenty of distractions the Crab are placing out to test peoples focus on what's really happening here."

"I have matured these few months." She replies and pausrs for a couple of heartbeats. "I had to. The way that leads to freedom goes through duty. I cannot have my moments if I don't dedicate minutes to my clan. The proportion is unfair but it is as it has always been."

She opens her eyes and looks at her with a smirk. "Is that what I'm supposed to say or should I make it even more about self sacrifice?" A shrug. "I'm not sure why but truth be told I'm more interested in politics than ever before. This is a quite interesting world. More relaxed than my own. Less dangerous but equally unforgiving to mistakes. More... Exhilarating?" A second shrug. "Only time can tell."

[Susumu Sumiko]

There was a thoughtful expression on Sumiko's face for a few moments before she chuckled.

"That sounds like how I felt after my time in New Kalani. There truly is so much to see out there huh? Hai this is a very calmer world than the World of Dreams, truthfully most worlds are more calm than World of Dreams though. It was an adjustment for me getting used to how things were there in the short time I was in your clans world. The question is do you like it here more?"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"I like it a lot. Both the world and the locals. I could see myself staying." She admits. "It won't be easy though."

"How about you? Where might I see you the next time?"

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Senshu-chan from the bright lights settling down in a calm Crab world. I can't say I saw that coming" Sumiko said with amusement "myself? It may surprise you to learn I won't be staying here. More than likely I'll return to Longshore to check how the construction of the wildlife sanctuary is going, as well as the investigation into the most appropriate creatures to bring to it. I'm sure once that's finished I'll receive another summons from Susumu-donos office" there was a shrug "then off to another world maybe. Not likely anywhere near Crab space though."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"I... I..." She scratches the back of her head. "There's this girl. I don't know her well, but I think that I want to stick around and see what she's like when she's dressed."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Hmm?"

Sumiko leaned closer, a curious look on her face.

"That's a different look for you. A Crab girl I'll assume? I won't ask names of course, but if it's made you curious enough to want to remain longer she must be something."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"She's... a lot like me, so I assume you'd like her." She replies and winks teasingly. "I don't have a lot of chances, but I have almost a week in front of me to try. It's a good challenge. I'll take it."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Is that so?"

Sumiko stayed leaning forward for a few moments longer, before sitting back and resting her head on the back of the onsen.

"I believe in you, I really do. If Senshu-chan puts her mind to something there's little that can stop her. Besides, who wouldn't want to spend more time with you?" She looked at the girl with a smirk "I might be slightly biased but you're one of the people I enjoy spending time with the most."

This time it is Senshu who moves closer. Close enough to whisper to the other girl's ear while drops of water fall from her hair to Sumi's shoulder . "I really wish things were different. That one of us was different so that we could see a future between us. So that I could let go and fall madly in love with you. Exactly the way you deserve and the way I dreamt of more that one night while we were away from each other."

[Susumu Sumiko]

Sumiko moved slightly, taking advantage of the steam in the onsen to rest her cheer against Senshuken's face. Even though her words were ones she had heard before in her life she smiled softly at them.

"I wish such things were possible Senshu-chan, so I could show you the universe and see how you master every challenge in front of us. Even if that path isn't possible though know that I'll always be there for you, hidden and waiting for you to come back and warm my bed again" she whispered, before leaning back slightly to look the other girl in the eyes.

"Sharing all the views in the sky together would be the most wonderful dream."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshu closes her eyes and takes every word in. If only Sumi wasn't a Spider. If only her mother would ever agree... She stops the thought and opens her eyes to meet hers. "I will always return to your bed." She whispers. "To your side." A beat. "To you. Maybe not for the dreams that could have been, but the reality that can be. We can both hide from the unwanted eyes, but you see me. Not because I have let you, but because you looked."

[Susumu Sumiko]

Sumiko put her hand on top of Senshukens under the water.

"If the dreams can't come true, then we can just make reality more interesting anyway. Duty will present the chances, I know it" she smiled softly "after all every clan has races right?"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

She nods. "Every clan, yes. The Spider, too, and I have yet to top any of them, but one!" She teases her. Because that's who Senshuken is. When talking about feelings becomes too much, she will always go for a bad joke instead. Mood killer for others and an escape door for her.

[Susumu Sumiko]

Sumiko laughed, giving Senshu's hand a quick squeeze before letting go and sitting back.

"You know I did a little research on Spider courses. There's a race held on one of the Spider planets which is considered the most dangerous race in the galaxy with deaths very common. A long race took, lasts multiple hours."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

It is very obvious that if this is a bait, Senshuken is already chewing the hook and she likes it. Her eyes widen with a mixture of disbelief and excitement.

"How? Why? I mean how do they die? Why?"
