(The park? That's solely the reason it exists, for walking transitions :D)

(I'll allow nameless small concrete park to be in the same scene vicinity as The Flying Battle Carps.)

A bike parks at the nameless concrete parking lot at the same time the three samurai arrive. Bayushi Senshuken takes her helmet off and waves at them from afar.

"Let's go" Sumiko said to the other two, giving them a smile as she fell into step with them. Someone her height meant she didn't need to rush either, a rare luxury!

Noticing Senshuken was at the parking lot was a surprise but she gave the woman a smile and a bow as she walked.

"Fancy seeing you here Bayushi-sama."

Kisha walks along, the holodrone following but its light off.

"You two know one another?" she asks after hearing Sumiko's question.

There was a nod.

"My previous assignment was to Kyuden Oborozuki on the prestigious World of Dreams. Bayushi-sama is a famed racer there, and we met there during my assignment."

"Ohhh," Kisha says. "I'll have to ask about that more after things here are done, then. Unless our Bayushi friend is interested in dueling, as well?"

She'll cock her head slightly, raising an eyebrow.

"Dueling?! I'm definitely in if it's drones. I absolutely avoid swords." She jokes and bows once again. "Bayushi Senshuken. From the World of Dreams, indeed."

Kisha smiles.

"A pleasure!" she says, giving a little bow. "Miya Kisha," she adds.

Even in this time, there are proprieties to be observed.

"So no duelling bikes, Bayushi-sama" Sumiko said with a small laugh before turning back to Kisha.

"Shall we find a safe point to try and battle then? I'm a novice so forgive me for not being a great challenge" she bowed respectfully.

"A moment," Kisha says, and the recording light turns back on.

"Alright, so, what do I do now?" she asks. "We take off together, or what?"

"Oh you are drone dueling? Could I join you? Perhaps a second match if one of you is inclined to?"

She chuckles. "This is so addictive."

Taraka looked over the public parking lot. Whatever business it had been built to serve had long since closed and been torn down. With no buyers for the space, the city had kept it as public parking, though unless the area suddenly was overwhelmed with cars, it saw little use. Right now there wasn't so much as a bicycle parked there, save for the Scorpion's bike.

Taraka looked over at the Miya.

":Do you need any assistance with your recording while you pilot your carp?" she offered.

"Thank you," Kisha says, "but I'm going to keep it stationary. Makes for greater authenticity, and it will be where it can hear me as I go on.

"But does a three-way contest work?" she adds. "I'd hate for Bayushi-san to miss out, but Susumu-san does have the first challenge."

(Best of five opposed Piloting / Agility rolls, modified by drone stats for duel, yes? Any changes for a three-way contest, or just who makes the best roll of the three wins each exchange?)

Taraka chuckled a bit.

"You want your first match to be a three-way instead of a duel? I thought you were a Miya, not a Mantis. You realize that'll mean keeping yourself safe from two opponents at once and trying to find the right opportunity to clip one and then the other? The rules allow it, it just means that whomever wins is treated as having defeated the highest ranked opponent they were facing, and the losers will each have count as having lost to the lowest ranked opponent in the match." she explained.

She looked to the other two.

"You two going to accept that kind of crazy challenge from Miya-san?"

(Still first to 3 wins, but you've got two people to compare against instead of 1 Stats are correct)

"And here I thought that things couldn't become more thrilling. I'm in if Susumu san agrees, as well."

"Is that how it works?" Kisha says, although whether she is feigning innocence or not is not clear from her tone. "Little enough to lose, in the event. At least for me."

There was a look of confusion.

"Forgive me mina-sama but I'm still learning as it is, facing two opponents sounds like it would be better suited to three people who are not notives."

Taraka titled her head a bit at the Spider's reluctance.

"Is that so? Well, if Bayushi-san and Miya-san demand a third opponent, and Susumu-san is content to sit and watch that fight, I suppose it falls upon me to provide the third opponent, assuming everyone finds that agreeable." she offers.

"I don't demand anything." She declares clearly. "And I don't want to steal Susumu san's match. I can wait in case one of the two wants a second duel. After they have fought each other."
