''Ooh'' she nodded at Koroshi's statement ''It does looks like a metaphor''

"I suppose you're on to something, Otomo-sama," he allowed him a give a short chuckle at that. "I don't think anyone here has quite thought it that way but it is an amusing and fitting metaphor nevertheless. I'd be cautious making that comparison to the Yasuki with a smaller sense of humour than myself."

"I think a quaint spot is the 'Lovers' drawbridge in the middle of the town, it's a red painted bridge and easily the heart of the town. It's quite hard to miss if you're making your way towards the Suitengu's Bounty Warehouse or the food stalls by the docks. It's a crossroad where most of the foot traffic passes through, as well as a good number of fishing boats and rafts. It serves as a good meeting spot, as well as the perfect place to get a sense of the city. I wouldn't recommend going there now, for obvious reasons, it's been drawn up until the rain stops." He said, pointing in the direction of where the bridge would be found.

"If you wish to get a good view of the town at a distance, I could suggest climbing up Mount Jinsei. You don't need to go all the way to the top. There is a temple you'll find halfway that will provide a good enough view of the town, rural farmlands and even the newly installed monorail bridge. It's the Temple of Light," he nodded soundly at that suggestion.

[Otomo Koroshi]

"A temple! Ah, I will mark it on my calendar to visit soon enough. You have been entirely too kind Yasuki-san, I will be putting in a good word about you to your superiors. Who might they be by the way? The governor obviously, but I expect you speak to the directors of some office or another more regularly than with the big fish." Koroshi was making a mental note of the man's name to send a gift basket later.

''True that'' she seconded ''Is there something we can do in the immediate? if only keeping an eye out? I'm a woman of action, you see''

Yasuki Haruto

"My duties here to the administration are merely an extension of the province's Public Works office, Otomo-sama. I have to admit my standing in the office is rather low, though in a small settlement like this one, with most of the population being heimen, it does entail a great deal of responsibilities. My supervisor is Yasuki Masaaki, if you must know, Otomo-sama." he said before giving a deep bow partly both in thanks...and in apology. Who knows, the Otomo might actually be angling to file a complaint.

"I don't wish to take up your time more than necessary, Moto-san. If you wish, you can seek shelter in the town proper until the rain dissipates. The heimen will likely need a hand with repairs then." He says apologetically.

[Moto Shiwahime]

''I'll stay to do what I can'' she replied ''I wish you good fortune, Yasuki-san. Oh...did you happen to see strange people around? There are some rumors about that.''

[Boogiepop]

"We would be thankful for any assistance you can give, Moto-san," Haruto would say with a deep bow.

When he rose from the bow, he would lift his brows at the question. There was a pause as he reflected back on the last few days. "Oh, I don't know if we could call them strange. There was indeed an influx of visitors at Tenjin Town, and they seemingly travelled in a group. Some sort of party or celebration? A performance?"

The soft-spoken and gentle Yasuki would show a frown, perhaps for the first time. "I'm not so sure, but unfortunately, they were quite disrespectful. They left a bit of garbage on the docks, and there was a hasty cleanup to pick up after them. They left to go to the city or or Mount Nakahama, last I've heard."

[Moto Shiwahime]

She gave a nod ''I see. A wandering troupe perhaps? Not all of them has the good sense to show decency to the location they perform in.''

she shrugged

''Well that is that. Before we go...your temple is fortunist or taoist?''

[Boogiepop]

Yasuki Haruto

"Sorry, my temple?" He said curiously at first when he backtracked on their conversation. "Oh, yes, I did mention that the Temple of Light had a wonderful vantage point. I didn't mention I was a member there, but now that you've brought it up, yes, it is my temple."

"To answer your question, neither," he said easily enough.

Well that was weird

''Yeah...well...by your temple I meant your temple...'' she pointed around ''...your in a general sense.''

She gave the Yasuki a shrug

''I did not know there was a third type of temple. What kind is it then?''

[Boogiepop]

"Of course," Haruto said gently with a few nods. "Simply put, our temple offers an alternate path. One that focuses on the betterment of the self and equality. It might be too much to explain in the rain, but I would be more than happy to explain it at length at another time, perhaps with a visit to our temple sometime? We would be more than happy to have you, Moto-san. You as well, Otomo-sama."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Yeah, sounds interesting for sure.'' the Moto replies honestly ''For now I feel like we have taken a lot of your time here Yasuki-san. We'll finish our run then I'll stay to help in doing what I can. If there are more trouble...call us.''

[Boogiepop]

"Of course. Have a pleasant day, Moto-san and Otomo-sama, please be careful in the rain," he said with a deep bow given to both before he continued on his way.
