''Ah'' She gave a nod ''I could do friend, it's a terrible thing to feel lonely. I am not sure how good of a business contact I'd be though.''

She continued to check the menu, settling on a beer and a crab dumpling entrée for now.

''So. What kind of business do you seek to pursue here?''

She continued to check the menu, settling on a beer and a crab dumpling entrée for now.

"Well, there is a big bidding event on the coming days, and I am here to represent my company. But I look towards using my own capital to have something of my own, away from what my superiors might assign to me."

She ordered some crab ceviche for herself.

She took a sip of beer

"I.. don't know." She confessed. The sake and cup arrived, and served herself some.

"I am discovering myself, as it were. I plan to spend this time to explore and experiment, making use of the free time I have at disposal. What I know is that, whatever I do, I must have people to fall back on."

''Well now. I ain't someone who is shy when it comes to hackets. Not sure what I'll do for the bidding event but I'm sure I'll be roped in that glaikit one way or another.''

She grinned

''Hit me up, I'll see what I can do. Otherwise...what do you do for fun? What are you passionate about? It can't be you know nothing about yourself.''

Thus, the mortifying ordeal of being known.

Ichitaiyo glanced asides, a tad pondering, a tad embarrassed. "Well.. I don't have much time. But I.. dance. Find a place with music, dress as a peasant and let go. And I also play this strategy game 'Tetsu no Kokoro 40'."

Ichitaiyo placed an elbow on the table. "I don't know if I have the skill nor charisma of an entretainer for such."

She levied a gentle smile, and raised her eyes up, as some ideas began to connect and dreams mushed into something more solid.

"Mmm.. put that way, 'hitting' the floor is a manner of research if you will. To reflect what makes for a good place to let loose."

She took another bite of dumplings

"Governorship? Oh my," she murmured at the bit of news from Honoka's own life. There was a rise of her brows as she wondered if something of a similar success might be on the docket in the future. Potentially, she could be a governor? Of course, that might be too soon to say when Honoka's father has only just started his position.

Umiko gave the restaurant another glance, wondering if she was perhaps too casually dressed in her 'street' clothes. However, those concerns went away when she saw some of the other clients around the place. Perhaps more of a place where you could take pictures of your crab and crab dish than one that needed advanced reservations and a valet? She would follow to where Honoka was situated and flattened her skirt before settling down to a seat.

"Oh...oh my, wow," she murmured as she took the offered device in hand and scrolled through the menu with a bit of befuddlement reflected in her eyes. It was a bit daunting where to start, especially as a 'midnight snack', Unlike some of the visitors here, she didn't have the advantage of arriving at a different time zone where their internal clock might have told them this was lunch or dinner.

"...You even have long-bristle crab, those are typically a pain to prepare, aren't they?" She would ask as a muse rather than a question she needed to answer. After a moment, she would shake her head with an apologetic smile. "Maybe another time, it might be a bit wasteful to have something I can't finish. How about the pudding cookie...crabble?"

There was a slight turn of her head, wondering if she was reading that right, but also if the dessert item also contained crab, or it was merely a pun menu item.

Honoka nodded to confirm indeed, a governorship- first her grandfather's and now her father's. Unsaid was the fact that there has been much talk from many of her father's allies of finding him a position, perhaps another one, with how long lived her grandfather seemed to be but once he had taken I'll that talking stopped. He passed from a common illness that took many in old age and so it was fortuitous for those of her father's allies. Many of whom, at the thought of, Honoka could only steel her expression as to not let a grimace slip.

"Oh!" she says, her voice never letting the sharpness of a properly said 'Oh!' taking shape. "You should know, some of these desserts do have crab in them but-- "she struggles with the thought of wanting to show Umiko on the device directly but restructures this desire of physical direction into words alone, "but if you see the little crab icon next to a dish? That means it has crab in it. Since the whole menu has crab names I thought it only made sense to find another way to indicate what dishes contain crab and which don't." She says with a brief and slightly awkward smile.

Giving Umiko a .moment to look over the menu in a renewed light she would then offer, "But you should tell me all of what you've seen in your travels!! So many places I am sure!!" she says, offering them a nice shift into a conversation of indeterminate length that we, the viewers, not need join them on.

"Oh! Is that so?" Umiko said as some understanding dawned on her, especially the clever use of the icon to make things clear when it came to ordering. It should have been obvious that some things, like a popular umeshu drink from Uomoto Co. were expected to be crab-free. However, the icon showing up in a tomato-based cocktail was a surprising discovery for her.

"That's very clever, Honoka-chan! A nice customer touch but I'm sure there's bound to be some misunderstanding. I sincerely pray that nobody who is either allergic or loathes crab would ever find themselves here!" She clasped her hands together in a quick prayer motion with her words before breaking out in a short giggle.

"Yes, let's go with the dessert then. I'm feeling something sweet and surprising, Crab-related. Coming from a place managed by you, I'm sure it'll be the best!" She offered a beaming smile at that.

She nodded at the topic of her travels. "They kept us mostly in Aoihama for both our public appearances and as our base, training too. But we make many trips to the Coral Keep for propaganda and inspiration. I have also been to Kaiu Prime. Now just that there's also the World of Dreams and Glitter Scale. Golden Mirror and Miyabi," She way she spoke of the last two Crane worlds seemed to be a footnote. "Aoihama has been wonderful, very populated and busy, congested too, but still all surrounded by an untamed jungle. Still, nothing quite compares to the easy pace and peace found on Shiawase Island. At the very least, you know where your friends are found."
