[Miya Kisha]

Tagging to keep straight who says what to whom

Kisha nods. "I see," she says, "and I can see why you're so interested in him."

She glances over, herself, if perhaps not so openly.

Her attention returns to Haruhi. "And I can see why he'd be interested in you, too."

She winks. And she dances more.

There's still something of an invitation in how she positions herself relative to the Crane as another song starts, this one with a heavier beat and less in the way of vocals. Will any others join them?

[Kakita Haruhi]

Haruhi dances a little closer to the Miya, finding the beat of this unfamiliar but interesting song. The beat is heavy. She can feel it through her feet, through the floor, up to her heart.

There are no words.

Only movement that lands when the beats land.

She lets herself get lost in the feeling of it and letting that translate into something exploratory that is not proper dancing but keeps the time of it, at least. She feels energetic, excited. A little flushed from the drink earlier that did indeed have a kick.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kazushi does, indeed, join them after handing his drink to Katsumi for safekeeping. As had happened earlier in the spaceport, the crowd parted to allow him to pass, and he begins to dance...

...tolerably well. His moves are nowhere near professional, and far less refined than Haruhi's, but he does a good job of looking like he belongs on the dance floor. Even if he does move in unpredictable ways.

It might take a moment to register what he's doing. No, he's not a professional dancer. He's a model, and a designer. He's keenly aware of the cameras aimed at the dancers, and he's moving for them. He knows framing. He knows lighting. He knows shot composition. He knows exactly how to make himself and his new companions look good for all of the viewers at home.

He's a marketer. An image man. And he's working.

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha flashes her smile at him.

He's not the only one who knows framing and lighting, after all, but if he wants to help her look good...it's flattering, certainly.

But Kisha will make sure Haruhi is more in frame with him than she. It wasn't a lie that she could see what she saw in him, and if it can help her be happy, well, that's all the better!

[Bayushi Kazushi]

She's trying to set us up, Kazushi notes. Cute.

The executive follows the Imperial's lead, directing the cameras toward himself and Haruhi, letting her talent steal the show. He makes sure not to move in any way that would exclude Kisha, though. Everyone's got a right to the spotlight if they want it.

[Kakita Haruhi]

Haruhi had smiled as he joined them. She didn't have the intuition to understand how well he was drawing eyes and cameras - just the pleasure of the dance and the company.

As there was a break in the songs, she leaned close to them both so she could manage the overdue introduction.

"Miya Kisha-sama, this is Bayushi Kazushi-sama, of the Orchid Department."

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"Miya Kisha-san, of course!" Kazushi says, finally recognizing the Imperial. "I've seen a few of your holo-casts."

[Yasuki Kaito]

Yasuki Kaito had arrived on the island a little earlier in the day and was perhaps a bit surprised to see the island already starting to fill up with a number of visitors that hadn't been experienced in a while. Most of the izakayas and the spots at the Harbourfront were filling up. Much to his chagrin, that included the Pink Lotus as well. Here, he imagined that most of the visiting types would be middle-aged salary men or ancient executives. While he wasn't exactly a local himself, Gakko Island (where he was from) was easily the closest settlement near Shiawase Island and inside the borders of the Tango Province. Local by association, he would tell himself.

He wasn't the dancing sort tonight and made his place at a table to watch some of the visitors mingle with each other. Raising his hand, he called over a server to get him a Kinsenka shochu highball.

[Miya Kisha]

"Miya Kisha-san, of course!" Kazushi says, finally recognizing the Imperial. "I've seen a few of your holo-casts."

Kisha smiles again.

"A pleasure, Bayushi-san!" she says, perhaps struggling a bit to be heard over the crowd noise. They are, after all, not the only ones talking. "I hope you've enjoyed them!"

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"I've found them quite informative. Your video from Club Auro on Ujimitsu inspired us to bring our Phoenix Down club-wear line to market," says Kazushi.

[Bayushi Hinata]

"Miya Kisha-san, of course!" Kazushi says, finally recognizing the Imperial. "I've seen a few of your holo-casts."

From the haze of mood lighting, neon decorations and the pounding of music emerges Kazushi's newest team member. He leaned against the bar, giving Kurumi and Katsumi a friendly smile before he leaned onto the latter to speak.

"Seems like he's a bit outnumbered neh? Think he needs backup?"

[Yasuki Kaito]

Kaito had his eyes on the three who were dancing and nearly having a shouting match from talking on the floor. While it was an interesting three, he had no interest in joining in the shouting. Wasn't there a retinue or an attachment that Scorpion came in with? His gaze roamed around the place, and it was easy to find the twins at the bar, as well as the other Scorpion, who seemed to have joined them.

After working out some internal evaluation, he decided to get up from his seat, much to the befuddlement of the server when Kaito's drink was brought over. He strolled over to Hinata and offered a very casual bow with his hands in his coat pockets. "What's happening? Are you new to Nakahama City?" He greeted with a faint smirk.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"This is how he tests himself," Katsumi says quietly. "Throws himself in the deep end and tries to swim."

She gives a bit of a sly smile, remembering the Frog and the Scorpion.

[Bayushi Hinata]

On the dance floor, Haruhi continued dancing with Miya Kisha and Bayushi Kazushi, weaving between them in her graceful motions.

She was smiling, relaxed, in her element, even if her dance moves only impressed during Usagi Drop! songs.

Apparently tireless.

[Yasuki Kaito]

Hinata raises an eyebrow as he sees the Crab approach. At the casual bow he smirks back at the man, bowing back in a simmilarly curt fashion. "Is it that obvious? I was hoping I was being subtle about it." He turns to the bar, ordering himself a plain gin before gesturing for the Yasuki to lean over with him, offering the seat next to him. "You a local I assume? Would explain how you could recognise unfamiliar faces with all the flashing lights."

"Not so obvious. The island is big enough that you can't meet everyone here in a year, but at least small enough that word can travel pretty fast. Just the way I like it, actually. I don't normally hang out at Friendship Street, but we have Scorpions here. Visitors, on the other hand, I can see that they have a bit more pleasure than business in them, let's just say," he smirked as he offered a glance over to the dance floor to indicate what he was talking about.

"You could say something like. I consider myself a frequent visitor, you can say an honorary Shiawase Island local. The vibe here is much like Gakko Island, even if a bit rough around the edges," he said before sitting down at the offered seat and raising a hand to get the bartender's attention. Just as they were making their way over, he would reach inside his coat pocket and present a card with both hands.

"Yasuki Kaito, Executive Producer at the Silver Fin Productions, Tango Province Office," he said while presenting his card formally.

[Miya Kisha]

"I've found them quite informative. Your video from Club Auro on Ujimitsu inspired us to bring our Phoenix Down club-wear line to market," says Kazushi.

Kisha flushes a bit.

"I'm glad to have been helpful," she says before the music resumes and her dance joins it.

On the dance floor, Haruhi continued dancing with Miya Kisha and Bayushi Kazushi, weaving between them in her graceful motions.

She was smiling, relaxed, in her element, even if her dance moves only impressed during Usagi Drop! songs.

Apparently tireless.

Kisha does her best to match her motions to Haruhi, although she does not equal the Kakita's grace.

When the song ends, she will say to both "It might be time for another drink!"

[Bayushi Hinata]

The Bushi looks over the dancefloor as the Yasuki does. His eyes linger perhaps a little too long on the three gathered personalities. Just keeping an eye on his charge, that is all. Doesn't mean the tirelessly dancing crane couldn't be a small distraction. He returns his attention to the bar in time to find his glass of gin sitting in front of him, and a card to take into his hand.

He takes the presented slip of tastefully thick paper, it even has a watermark! "A media executive! Well aren't I lucky to have caught your eye. Silver Fin is a local broadcast network right? Will you be covering the Governor's upcoming event, I might just participate, please make sure to catch my good side." He lets out a soft chuckle, barely audible over the bustle of the club.

"Well, since you know this place so much better than myself Yasuki-sama. May I be so uncortous as to ask for pointers moving around here? Where to get things fixed if they break, where to have a good meal... nice places to go on dates even?" He asks with a sly smile, eyes glancing back at the dance floor.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

When the song ends, she will say to both "It might be time for another drink!"

"Indeed," agrees Kazushi. He turns and sees that Hinata's made it, and notes with some gratitude that a Crab seems to have distracted him from his attempts to distract Katsumi, whose eyes are on her employer.

[Kakita Haruhi]

Haruhi nodded.

"A drink sounds good. It will be easier to chat away from the music."

"Do you have a favorite drink you recommend, Bayushi-sama? Miya-sama and I tried a tasty local drink with lots of citrus earlier."
