I had read this as more of a flavor of just how important these contracts were, not things to actually be given out, but Tanuki-san is confusing me. Please help a confused Crab.

But as it appears, these Holdings are more under the ownership of the Clans than of the individuals who are acquiring them for their Clans. But that doesn't mean that you can't arrange for some place for people! These can be used in the same way as spending 30 points for a Gentry, to represent some responsibility/ownership of the gentry.

Additionally, we are adding that each individual can only benefit from this once, whether the 30 point version or the above granted version.

Note, more and bigger Holdings are still better for your clan! Don't slack off just because you've got yours!

Ok, so I *can't* personally benefit from this more than once. To keep from having to renegotiate with Tanuki-san, can we say I get one and someone of my choosing gets one?

Hmm, I think it could happen entirely off-screen, if it's entirely the Kaito incident. Unless you have other things you wish to chat with the magistrate. Then it can be a scene!
